Last week I finished The Deep Blue Good-by by John D. MacDonald, taking my total of books read to 18.
The book is about Travis McGee, a private investigator who helps a lady to regain a lost treasure that belonged to her father. There's lots of mystery, violence, talking, sex, good-natured humor, and cynicism.
The Deep Blue Good-by is the last book that I had to read for my Writing the Novel class at OU, in which I will write a novel.
I believe that's officially the first time that I've mentioned that on the interwebz.
Isn't that special?
Wait--I need to go write a novel!
